leg rests

Some quick arithmetic tells me that for a leg rest to put my legs at the osteopath-recommended angle, I'm going to need a cushion 17 inches thick, or a little thicker. That's about 43cm. Most leg wedge pillows on sale that I've looked at only go up to 10" or 12" thick, which is not going to be enough; I'd be willing to try 16" on the grounds that I could just put an ordinary pillow on top if need be, but a shortfall of 5" is too much to bother paying for a thing.

So, I'm back to "make your own" or "find an appropriate beanbag or inflatable" at this point.

If anyone is getting rid of any sofa cushions do let me know...

If you can find a shop that sells foam and cushion inserts for sofas and the like they usually will cut them to order, at angles and stuff, plus you can check how dense/squishy the foam is for your purpose..
