Ear syringe arrived. I have used it. I can hear out of my right ear again! Hooray!
I'm still not entirely convinced it wasn't infected last weekend, because it was very hurty (as opposed to just having a stopped-up feeling) then, but I'm extremely glad to have been able to sort this out myself - with advice from you lot, of course.
Now my left ear feels stopped up in comparison to my right, so I guess in a bit I'll go syringe that one too.
I think the ear syringe might also prove to be a very convenient way of applying apple cider vinegar to my scalp (as opposed to my hair, which gets in the way).
Made a nurse's appointment anyway for a thing I can't do myself, in the girly TMI category. And an appointment with my GP because she said she wanted to see me in four to six weeks and it's been that. And got repeat prescription requested, so I can go pick that up tomorrow.
Also from the Post Office: three inflatable stools. I'll be trying one out for a putting-under-legs-while-sleeping device, as I do need to have something. If it works, I must make a cover before I go to cat-sit Potchka.
I arranged to have a picnic tomorrow lunchtime in Mudchute Park, then decided to have a little wander around. I wandered. There are sand leeks (or chives or whatever the hell they are, tasty though), and the hawthorn buds are yummy (pigeons seem to think so too). Some of the wild rocket from last year is actually still alive, which shows what a mild winter we've had. There is that stuff that I think is probably sorrel everywhere at the moment, and the plums and sloes are in various stages of flower. I tried to buy eggs from the farm shop but they were shut. I'm a little tired now from all the walking, but I think if I am gentle with myself the rest of the afternoon I should still be good to go to Aikido tonight.
Right, lunch now, it's later than it should be for lunch due to my wandering around.
