Thanks Kathryn, I did have a very nice day. But missed the green eggs and ham! Went for a lovely walk along the Emerald Necklace Trail in Petawawa. Saw a turtle swimming in the water, Madden retrieved lots of sticks from the water and had a good swim. In other areas the Petawawa River is quite high still creating a lot of noise and white water conditions. Dad bought an expensive piece of cow and barbecued it for supper. Harvey called too. All in all, a very lovely day. I really enjoyed our phone call the other day. Just as an aside, Cindy is out in Victoria and she is getting her hair coloured by Harvey. He is having a great time.
